We’re very pleased to say that on 21st January 2025, we signed up to the ‘Carer Friendly Employer’ and ‘Carer Friendly Communities’ schemes run by Devon Carers!

Unpaid carers play a crucial role in looking after people, and we’re looking forward to bolstering the support we can offer them – including those in our staff team.

In April 2024, we signed the Young Carers Covenant, and pledged to provide support to any young carers we come across, including signposting them to bespoke services they can access. Signing up to the Carer Friendly Devon schemes will help us to benchmark the support we already give against best practice, identify areas for improvement, and build on our mission to support not only the people who need us, but their loved ones as well.
